Explain whether you see damage, a dark picture, lines or brightness changes. Say whether the TV menu and every input are affected. A whole-screen photograph gives context that a close-up can miss.
Different faults need different work
Panel damage, backlight faults and source-related picture issues are different assessments. Ask what inspection will establish before requesting a replacement screen. Avoid pressing the display or applying a quote from another model.
LG model details to have ready
Share the complete LG model from the external label, the screen size and what happens when the fault occurs. If a repair has already been attempted, describe the work or provide the written finding. Do not send passwords, account codes or payment details with a photo.

Do not open the television or probe internal circuits to answer these questions. If there is smoke, a burning smell, liquid entry or visible electrical damage, stop using the set and describe its condition to the workshop.

A description helps plan inspection, but similar symptoms can have different causes. Ask for assessment before committing to a specific replacement.
What should I send with my first message?
Include the model, locality, main symptom and a clear photo if safe to obtain. Mention previous repairs and wall mounting. Leave out passwords and personal account details.
